Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program – How to Apply in 2024

Opportunity comes students’ way as Boston University, The first institution of higher education to operate in the city of Boston, announced a new scholarship program on the 18th of August called “The Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program”.

The Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program is an undergraduate academic merit program that annually awards 18 incoming freshman students full-tuition scholarships and fully-funded GPSP-sponsored summer programs.

The Presidential Scholarship is a full-tuition, four-year scholarship. If a student has a need that exceeds tuition, as determined by Boston College’s institutional analysis, that need will be met with additional scholarship funds.

Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program

The colleges revealed that only Early Decision and Regular Decision applicants who submit their BC applications by the 1st of November, which is the scholarship’s deadline, will be considered. Note that this scholarship does not require a separate application, and please keep in mind that only candidates for fall admission will be considered.

Eligibility Requirements

Upon releasing the deadline for the scholarship program, Boston College revealed the requirements that Freshman students must have, to be eligible for the scholarship program

The Freshman students must;

1. be an undergraduate student

2. attend a four-year college

3. currently be a high school student

4. study full-time

For People Who Want To Attend Boston College because of the scholarship program, you’ll need to;

1. Apply to the College as a first-year student.

2. Meet the College’s English Language requirements.

3. Meet the admissions requirements for Boston College.

4. Submit your application before the priority deadline.

The college also made it clear that not everyone is eligible for Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program; the scholarship program is restricted to students who are studying in Massachusetts

Documents Required for the Application of the Scholarship Program

Before proceeding with the application for the scholarship program, you need to be sure you have these 5 compulsory documents that would make you eligible for the program.

These five documents are documents obtained from the college; as they said, only Boston Students or people studying in Massachusetts are eligible. Before collecting these documents, you’d be verified if you are one of their students or someone studying in Massachusetts.

Note: International or Foreign Students, or Students who study outside Massachusetts, are not eligible for The Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program.

3. Application Form

4. Recommendations Or References (or School Report and Counselor Recommendation Form”

Scholarship Reward

If you are qualified for the Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program, you’d be given a full scholarship by the school, which means your tuition fees and living Stipendwould be taken care of and many more, but it’s not been revealed how long the scholarship reward would hold

This scholarship requires no additional application materials; however, please keep in mind that only candidates for fall admission will be considered.
