About the Beyond the Boroughs Scholarship

The Beyond the Borough Scholarship started in 2007 and has been offering a scholarship to high school seniors that are about to go into college. The organization believes higher education should be made available to everyone that desires it. Therefore, a four-year scholarship, each worth up to $20,000 are offered to winners of the scholarship. Currently, the scholarship is open for application. Also, it is available for both male and female students of any race from any state.

Additionally, the main goal of creating the Beyond the Boroughs Scholarship for students is to support students that have been admitted to college but whose financial capacity is not able to meet the high costs of higher education.

Eligibility for the Beyond the Borough Scholarship

  • You must be a current high school senior entering college
  • You must have gained admission into an accredited four-year college, university, culinary school, or Vocational school.
  • Your application must contain a completed student aid report from FAFSA and CSS profile.
  • You must come from a low-income household. This is because the Beyond the Borough Scholarship is truly beneficial to students from low-income families.
