New American University Scholarship: How to Apply in 2024

The New American University Scholarship is awarding international students who are interested in studying a degree program at Arizona State University (ASU). This program provides qualified students a monetary award and an environment focusing on knowledge, learning, and research plus resources toward understanding and helping solve society’s most pressing challenges.

Arizona State University (ASU) is committed to helping a greater number of academically qualified students graduate than ever. The New American University Scholarship awards are offered to outstanding freshmen (domestic and international) as they pursue academic excellence at ASU.

Types Of The Scholarship Awards

This scholarship includes the following types of awards:

President’s Award

Provost’s Award

Dean’s Award

University Award

Academic Achievement Award

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 

To be fully eligible for the scholarship and the awards and to also be in consideration, you must;

i. A minimum SAT score of 1200 or an ACT score of 24.

ii. A minimum high school GPA of 3.0 is required.

Scholarship Award Money

The Scholarship award money is based on the student’s or applicant’s academic record and residency status, so the scholarship award money varies if you are a citizen of the country or a foreigner

i. Scholarship amounts range from $2,000 to $10,000 for in-state residents. ii. Scholarship amounts range from $7,500 to $15,500 for out-of-state domestic students.

iii. International students typically pay between $3,000 and $15,500.

Note: 

1. For first-year students, all scholarships Awards are renewable for up to eight semesters (4 years count)

2. When students are admitted to ASU, they are automatically considered for this award.

3. To be considered for this award, all admission application materials (admission application, test scores, official transcripts, and application fee) must be on file with the ASU Undergraduate Admissions Office.

4. Students must be graduating from an Arizona high school to be eligible for this award.
